Tata Nexon is a very popular SUV in India and it’s currently the top-selling SUV. Recently, Tata has been working on the Nexon facelift. They don’t want to lose their popularity, so they are making sure the new version is amazing. Some new spy shots of the Nexon facelift have been leaked, showing off some cool new features inside.
Tata Nexon Facelift Interior
Tata Nexon Facelift is going to have some major changes, both in its looks and features. The interior is going to get a big overhaul with a new two spoke steering wheel that’s inspired by the Tata Curvv concept model. The steering wheel looks really cool and we are not sure yet if the Tata logo will light up, but it would definitely make the Nexon stand out.
The dashboard is also getting some tweaks to its design and there will be a new touchscreen infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster. The lower centre console area in the Nexon facelift is quite similar to the current model. The drive mode selector remains unchanged and there’s a slightly updated gear lever. The manual handbrake and wireless charger have also been kept the same
On the outside, the Nexon will get a new front profile inspired by the Tata Curvv. It will have new headlights, new tail lights, new bumpers and a new grille design. Wheels will also have a new design.
One interesting feature to note is the hidden rear wiper that’s inspired by the Hyundai Tucson. It’s inside the roof spoiler and will operate from the top of the rear windshield.
Tata Nexon Facelift Engine
New Tata Nexon Facelift will have some changes on the outside. There will be new daytime running lights and a new headlight design. We may also see some new things on the inside like a 360-degree camera and a digital instrument cluster. Tata might add something called ADAS which would make it the first car in this group to have it, but we haven’t seen it in any pictures yet, so we can’t be sure. As for what’s under the hood, we can expect a new 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5 litre diesel engine.
Tata Nexon Facelift Launch and Price Details
Tata has not disclosed any information regarding the launch date of the Nexon facelift, but we are expecting that it could be released in August 2023. This seems plausible, given the frequent sightings of the car being tested lately. As for the pricing, it’s expected that there could be a hike of around Rs 50k to 60k.
