Hyundai launched Grand i10 Nios facelift in India on 20 January at a price point of Rs 5.69 lakh onwards. The booking of Grand i10 Nios facelift is open, for a token money of Rs 11,000 and the deliveries of this car will start in the coming days.
Several changes have been done in this car, first it comes with the name of i10 then it is updated and changed to Grand i10 and is now the i10 Nios (Nios emblem is added). Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is available in 4 variants – Era, Magna, Astra and Sports.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios fresh looks
Hyundai Grand i10 2023 gets a fresh look. Coming to the front it gets a redesigned front grille and glossy black bumper and a Y shaped LED daytime running lights. The shape of headlamps remains the same and Now DRL is integrated into the bumper of the car. It gets projector headlamps with halogen lights, shark fin antenna and new 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels.
The top variant gets the newly 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels. The car looks more attractive because of their alloy wheels. All the B pillars are blacked out with G i10 badging and roof rails which feels like a big car.
Coming to the rear it gets new LED lamps same as DRL shape and a new connecting LED bar. All the elements in the rear like Hyundai Logo and Grand i10 badging are in satin finish, chrome work is not present.
From the rear it looks much more modern and futuristic hatchback. The rear bumper will remain the same.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios new Interior
Hyundai did a variety of updates in the interior including rear AC vents, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charging and more. There is no front headrest in this car but in the top variant it gets rear headrest.
Grand i10 Nios gets Leather wrapped steering wheel, new grey upholstery for the seats, ambient lighting for the footwell and a metal finish inside the door handles. Hyundai Grand i10 became the first in segment hatchback to offer 6 airbags in the top variants.
In the features department, New i10 Nios offers 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple carplay and Android autoplay, tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, 4 airbags in base variant or 6 airbags in top variants, wireless charger and more.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Specs
It is powered by the same 1.2 L engine that produces 82 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 114 Nm. Hyundai offers a CNG variant with the same 1.2 L engine that produces 68 bhp of power and 98 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with 5 speed manual transmission and 5 speed automatic transmission.
The AMT variant of the Hyundai Grand i10 has hill start assist. The manual transmission gives a mileage of 20.7 kmpl and the AMT gives a mileage of 20.1 kmpl.
New Grand i10 Nios is available in 6 colour options – Titan grey, Polar white, Spark green, Teal blue, Typhoon silver and Fiery red.
