New Hyundai Verna is powered by two petrol engine options – 1.5 L and 1.5 L turbo. The 1.5 L petrol engine produces 113 bhp or 144 Nm of torque and the 1.5 L Turbo petrol engine produces 158 bhp or 253 Nm of torque.
Next gen Honda City offers only one 1.5 L petrol engine that produces 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Hyundai Verna 1.5 L Turbo petrol engine is the most powerful engine in this segment.

Both the Honda City and Hyundai Verna comes with advanced infotainment systems that offer a range of features and technologies to enhance your driving experience. But Hyundai Verna comes with a bigger Infotainment system as compared to Honda City.
Hyundai Verna has 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system while the Honda City has 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Hyundai Verna is wider than Honda City by 17 mm and 70 mm of extra wheelbase and it is more spacious. So basically, the new Hyundai Verna is expected to have more knee room for passengers in the 2nd row seat and because the car is wider than others in its class, people in both the front and back seats should have enough space for their shoulders too.

Hyundai Verna has a boot space of 528 litres, which is impressive for a sedan in its segment. Honda City offers a slightly smaller boot space of 506 litres, which is also quite good considering its compact size.
